How This Works
New Normal Wellness is designed for people who are seeking help for themselves or for someone they care about — especially when previous attempts at help have not led to lasting change.
The work begins with orientation, not action.
Step 1: Get Oriented
Everyone begins with The New Normal Map.
This guide helps you understand what kind of situation you’re in, what fears or resistance may be present, and what kind of change is actually worth working toward.
The goal is not compliance or urgency — it’s clarity.
Step 2: Choose the Right Guide
From there, you can move into other guidebooks based on your situation:
Choosing appropriate help
Understanding resistance
Interrupting escalation
Supporting a loved one without damaging the relationship
Parenting adolescents and young adults in distress
Each guidebook includes:
Clear instructions on how to use it
Structured reading
Worksheets designed to slow thinking and support sound decisions
Most people spend 6–10 hours working through a guidebook.
Step 3: Decide What Support (If Any) Is Needed
Some people use the guidebooks on their own.
Others want additional structure or shared support.
Based on interest and readiness, New Normal Wellness offers:
Small group support (waitlist)
Intensive workshops (future)
For professionals, a future certification pathway
Support is optional and intentional — not automatic.
